Black
and White "Fuzzy" Bracelet This playful bracelet takes some
patience to make, but you're just going to love the final result and all
the compliments you get when you wear it!
Materials:
Step 1: 1. Cut about 18 inches of Gossamer Floss. Pull thread through Big Eye Needle so that the thread is doubled. Place a Bead Stopper at the end. Step 2: Randomly string the Black and White beads on the thread, placing a bead or two of the Miyuki Mix between the beads as spacers. Step 3: When you have the desired length of bracelet, remove the Bead Stopper and tie a square knot. Cut excess thread and place a small dot of Hypo Cement on knot to seal.
Step 4: Cut 10, 6 inch lengths of Illusion Cord. Place 2 piece of cord (one at a time), between the beads at 5 different locations and tie a square knot for each cord. Place a small dot of Hypo Cement on each knot. Step 5: Randomly place the beads from the Miyuki Mix on the cord by placing a drop of Hypo Cement at the location you wish each bead to go and then sliding the bead down to the glue. Do this one bead at a time. Continue until you are happy with the look and then trim excess cord. It is best to place the first bead on each cord as close to the knot as you can. |
