Necklace and Earring Set Pretty and feminine best describes this
delicate necklace and earring set. We have used our gold plated melody
link charm along with our freshwater pearls and emerald Swarovski crystals

Directions: Our necklace measures 16 ½ inches. You can adjust the
length by adding or subtracting the links. Each link measures 5/8
of an inch.
Making the drops: Step 1. Straighten
your Head Pins if necessary. Onto a Head Pin place 1 Emerald Crystal.
Using a wire cutter cut off the excess head pin leaving approximately 3/16".
Using flat nose pliers, bend the 3/16" piece of wire 90°. Carefully
bend the 3/16" piece of wire into a loop, but do not close tightly.
Set aside. Do this 14 more times.
Step 2. Repeat Step
1, this time using 1 Pearl instead of the Crystal. Do this 11 more
times.
Connecting the Links for the Necklace: Step 1. Lay your Links
out as shown in picture to the right. Step 2. Using this
layout, attach them by twisting open a Jump Ring and placing on either
side of the Jump Ring the respective loops of the Links and then twisting
the Jump Ring closed. Keep connecting the Links until you have the
desired length. We attached 21 Links for our length.
Step 3. Twist open
a Jump Ring and place the uppermost loop of the Link on one side of the
Jump Ring and one end of the Toggle on the other side of the Jump Ring.
Twist closed the Jump Ring. Repeat this for the other end of the
Necklace.
Attaching the Drops: Step 1. Place the
open loop of one of the Emerald Drops into the free loop of the first Link
and then twist the loop of the drop closed. Repeat this alternating
the Emerald and Pearl Drops. You should have 4 Emerald Drops and
2 Pearl Drops left over for the Earrings.
Making the Earrings: Step 1. Twist open
the loop of the Ear Wire and place the loop of the Link into it. Twist
closed. See picture.
Step 2. Twist open
a Jump Ring and place the loop of the first Link on one side of the Jump
Ring and the loop of the second Link on the other side of the Jump Ring,
as shown in the picture. Twist closed the Jump Ring.
Step 3. Now place
the loop of the Emerald Drop into the open loop of the first Link and twist
closed.
Step 4. Place the
loop of the Pearl Drop into the loop of the second Link as shown in the
picture and twist closed.
Step 5. Place the
loop of the Emerald Drop into the loop of the open loop of the second Link
and twist closed.
Step 6. Repeat Steps
1-5 for the second Earring, placing the Link into the loop of the Ear Wire
in the opposite direction of the first Earring. Enjoy!
